Megan Ivaska, PT, DPT, CLT
Physical Therapist |
Born and raised in the Midwest, Megan began volunteering to assist with water therapy classes for children at a local hospital as a sophomore in high school. This experience led to an opportunity to help a family with a young boy with cognitive and physical disabilities in developing his motor skills. It was through these experiences and her enjoyment of being active playing on high school athletic teams (basketball and tennis) that she developed the desire to be a physical therapist.
Megan graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Bradley University in Peoria, IL in 2005. She then obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2008. Since graduating, Megan has also become a certified lymphedema therapist.
Megan currently resides in Fort Wayne with her husband, Mark. The two enjoy having fun with their dogs, hiking, biking, water sports, traveling and being around family. And although Mark does not offer the same level of competition Megan enjoyed while going to state in high school, the two do find time for a somewhat competitive game of tennis. |
