Peak Performance offers many occupational therapy services, some which are not offered anywhere else in either Whitley or Kosciusko Counties. Peak Performance also understands that our patients often work during normal business hours, therefore, we accommodate those patients by offering extended clinic hours, Monday-Friday 7AM-6PM. When patients come to Peak Performance, they will be treated by the same therapist each visit maintaining continuity of care.

Custom Splinting Fabrication	This is the utilization of thermo-molded plastic materials that are custom fitted for the patient for such injuries/conditions including but not limited to post-operative orthopedic surgeries.
Employee Injury Prevention Educational Program	These educational seminars are provided for the employees to reduce and/or eliminate occupational injuries.
Ergonomic Assessments	This is an evaluation performed by the therapist on-site at the workplace and is focused at a specific job station.  The therapist examines potential causes for injury and offers cost-effective solutions to minimize the potential risk of occupational injuries.
Job Task Analysis	This is a formal bio-mechanical assessment/measurement of all aspects of a specific job duty/position. A JTA helps determine accurate job descriptions and helps reduce the potential threats of musculoskeletal injuries by knowing specific measurements and/or physical requirements an employee might encounter on a day to day basis. Measurements include material and non-material handling aspects of the job position and if the employee would perform those on a constant, frequent, occasional, or seldom basis.  A JTA is essential in the proper development of a narrative job description especially in determining the physical demands requirements.
Lymphedema	Lymphedema is an abnormal accumulation of lymphatic fluid, which causes swelling that typically occurs in the arm(s) or leg(s) but may arise in any part of the body.  This condition may occur insidiously or after surgery, radiation therapy, infection or trauma.  Lymphedema is treated with "Complex Decongestive Therapy". Decongestive treatment is also effective in treating chronic venous insufficiency.
Hand Therapy	Hand therapy is a specialized treatment addressing specific injuries to the elbow, forearm, wrist, hand and fingers.  Treatment focuses on restoring mobility, strength and overall function.  This therapy typically follows injuries from trauma, surgery, repetitive motion, strain/sprain, fractures, burns or degenerative conditions such as arthritis.
Power Wheelchair/Scooter Assessments	The therapist provides an assessment of the patients needs regarding mobility and function and makes recommendations to the physician.  A letter of medical necessity is often required for insurance coverage.
Adaptive Equipment Fitting	The therapist provides an assessment of the patients needs for adaptive equipment (i.e. utensils) and provides education and training for proper use of the adaptive equipment.
